Technical Skills
- C#, .NET Framework 4 (preferred) or 3.5
- SQL Server 2008, T-SQL Stored ProceduresADO.NET
- Silverlight 4.0, RIA
- Windows Mobile Development
- WCF, WPF, Web services
- Telerik Grid Control and Reports for Silverlight
- Understanding of multi tiered applications using UI-BSL-DAL-Database layer pattern, MVVM pattern
- Proficient in object oriented analysis, design and development
- Multi threaded application development experience
Required ‘Soft’ Skills
- Solid analytical skills and attention to detail with a proven ability to delivery quickly and accurately.
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical concepts and systems.
- Experience designing and developing scalable systems and platforms with the ability to grow incrementally.
- Outstanding analytical skills with a history of success in synthesizing and integration information and data from varied sources.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills but not an ‘office politician’.
- Work well under pressure, has the ability to work within tight timelines and to collaborate across teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Experience with retail systems such as POS, ERP, and WMS software systems is an asset.
- Must be a strong / enthusiastic team player who’s willing to go the extra mile. We don’t want a clock watcher!
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-packed start-up environment.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 Years of Development Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent education and experience. It’s more about your attitude and experience versus what school you went to!
- Expert in .NET
- Expert in Biztalk Server for Messaging and Application integration (including the ability to install and configure)
- Knowledge of Retail Business is a plus
